      Sealed Tenders are invited from Registered Contractors / Reputed Firms / Experienced

Interested to quote this Tender may procure the Tender Document (non-transferable) containing the detailed specifications, terms and conditions on submission of a written application to the undersigned along with payment of non-refundable Tender fee as mentioned below. The Tender fee  565/- (including Sales Tax of Non-refundable amount) may be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, JNTU Kakinada payable at Kakinada. The Tender Document may also be downloaded from the website www.jntuk.edu.in, however, Tender Fee in the form of DD has to be enclosed with the application at the time of submission of the Tender.

            The advance Earnest Money Deposit is to be paid for the work in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Registrar, JNTU Kakinada payable at Kakinada. The DD of advance EMD must be enclosed with Tender.

** The difference of Earnest Money Deposit of 2.5% of total estimated work involved in the work on actual calculation basis will be deposited through D.D. at the time of final award by the successful Tenderer.

The tender should be addressed to the undersigned, and should be delivered in person or sent by Registered post so as to reach the office of the undersigned on or before 15/10/2012 up to 3.00 pm. No Tender will be accepted after the due date and time

The Tenders should be submitted in sealed covers clearly mentioning name of the item. Also the details of Bank Draft Number of advance EMD must be written on the envelope. The University shall not be responsible for any delay in receiving Tenders/sending of Tender Document by post.

The Competent authority of University reserves the right to accept or reject any Tender, without assigning any reason thereof. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

            Earnest Money shall be forfeited in case, it is found at any stage that information/particulars regarding supply of tendered item (s) is false.

BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

The Work includes:

1. Providing Maple Wooden Flooring in the play area of Modern Indoor Sport Pavilion at JNT University Kakinada.

Note:

2.     Advance E.M.D. Amount Rs. 25,000/- D.D. No._____________, Date_____________

3.     The Bidder should submit their Tender document along with all certificates and EMD on or

       before 15-10-2012

4.     The successful Bidder shall deposit  2.50% EMD by considering the advance EMD of

       the Contract value as Performance guarantee amount.

5.     The sealed COVER -A and the sealed COVER -B should be submitted in a single

       sealed cover to The Chief Engineer, JNTU Kakinada on or before last date for the 

       receipt of Tenders.

6.     The Cover -A (Technical Bid) will be opened first and eligibility will be evaluated by the    

       authorized person.

7.     The Cover-B (Financial Bid) will be opened only of the successful bidders of the 

      Technical Bid (Cover A).The financial bid covers of unsuccessful bidders will not be opened.
